私にとって芸術活動と魂の成長は、
双方が補完をしあい、円を描くように
互いを豊かにしてくれます。
アートと心はお互いがお互いを高めあい、
切り離されたり、逸脱することは決してなく、
常に尊重し合いながら調和しているのです。
私にとって生きることが
アートであり、
アートが生きる力なのです。

Mrinalini Profile
Born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India on December 31.
Mrinalini’s spirit connection with flowers was predetermined by her destiny, as her name means ‘lotus’ in Sanskrit. She gives new meaning to ‘joie de vivre’ as she pursues creative freedom in the world of art through her exploration of vibrant colors in relationship with floral themes and abstract spaces. Her travels with her husband (former India’s Ambassador to Japan) have taken her across the world from Europe to the Americas and Asia, broadening her artistic concepts and universalizing her identity. She has had several solo and joint exhibitions in Switzerland, Colombia, Indonesia and Japan starting from 1995 to the present. Her previous solo exhibition ‘In the Moment’ was held at Gallery SanKa?Bi, in Tokyo, Japan in October, 2012.
ムリナーリニ 略歴
12月31日インド、ヒマチャルプラデッシュのシムラに生まれる。
ムリナーリニとは、サンスクリット語で「蓮」の意。花々をテーマに、アートを通じて創造の自由や生 きる喜びを表現する。ムリナーリニはあらゆるものからインスピレーションを受け、そして創造とはま さしく永遠であり、人々を勇気づけるものであると考える。夫である元駐日インド大使とともにヨー ロッパ、アメリカ大陸、アジアへと赴任を続けながら、普遍的な独自のアイデンティティを追求し、現 在はインド在住。日本、スイス、コロンビア、インドネシアなど各地で個展、グループ展を重ね、 ２０１２年１０月にはギャラリーサンカイビにて個展’In the Moment’を開催する。
